A broker is a legal entity defined as a representative of its customers. Its compliance with the legal criteria set by Republic of Turkey, Under-secretariat of Treasury and Foreign Trade, General Directorate of Insurance Business is certified by a certificate.

WHY A BROKER ?

NART RISK MANAGEMENT FORUM 2005

The NART Risk Management Forum convened on September 20th. NART Sigorta Brokerliği ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş., a member of a group, which is the largest independent insurance and reinsurance brokerage group in Turkey and the 4th largest in the world, celebrated the 6th anniversary of its foundation on September 20th, Tuesday, with an international NART Risk Management Forum and a cocktail party.

TURKISH INSURANCE & REINSURANCE BROKERS ASSOCIATION BECAME A MEMBER OF BIPAR

Turkish insurance & reinsurance brokers association became a member of bipar which is one of the biggest public organisations in Europe.

Turkish Insurance Brokers Association has became officially member by a unanimous vote of 200 participants from 30 countries at General Assembily of BIPAR – Europian Union- Brussels.

An interview with Mr. Levent NART as the president of the Association of Insurance Brokers of Turkey was published in the December 2005 issue of the magazine Capital.

‘’ Mr. Levent Nart , the president of the Association of Insurance Brokers of Turkey…. He says that this business is growing fast, although it is a new field. As evidence, he refers to the fact that the number of companies in that sector reached 50. He says that the broker companies in Turkey have a 12% share in the market, compared to 70% in the US. ‘Within the next 5 years, this rate will reach 50% in Turkey” he says‘
